About the Expo
The Adult Tertiary Entry Expo is a unique event designed to cater for adults considering tertiary study at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The expo brings together representatives from universities, colleges and support organisations and prospective students are able to access information about degree programs and courses, entry requirements, application processes, student support, scholarships and career pathways.
Information Seminars
Throughout the day, the Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre (QTAC) will coordinate information sessions covering the following topics:
- QTAC applications for undergraduate courses
- alternative entry for mature-age students
- scholarships
- student life
- support services
- fees and government assistance
Session Times
Session 1 – 11am and 1:30pm – Tips for successful applications and study – what is alternative entry? Find out how to make your application count and hear from current mature-age students about their journey.
Session 2 – 11:45am and 2:15pm – Survival kit for tertiary study: ask our expert panel questions about support services, fees, equity and scholarships.
Session 3 – 12:15pm and 2:45pm – Government assistance for mature-age students: Centrelink will provide information on the types of assistance and support available to prospective students.
